The Voice 2014: Georgia Harrup and Laverne Scott-Roberts get bitchy!

Georgia Harrup

There's a frosty atmosphere between two unlikely contestants on The Voice UK battle rounds tonight.

Georgia Harrup and Laverne Scott-Roberts go head to head this evening as the pair compete for a spot in the knockout rounds.

And it gets bitchy between the pair from the word go as Laverne moans: "I wouldn't say I dislike her but I feel we're so opposite to each other..."

Georgia says: "I think it would have been harder if I was against someone I was friends with but I don't think we're bothered if either of just goes home."

In rehearsals the pair practice Taylor Swift hit 22 with Georgia claiming: "I think she wants one of my lines but she can stick to her lines. It's got to be a good duet, but this is a battle. I can't help her, she's got to stand on her own two feet."

Laverne meanwhile moans that she can't connect to the song choice, revealing how she spent her time when 22 changing nappies.

But Sir Tom is impressed with the pair's singing, saying: "I loved it and that's why I picked it. It made me feel lie I was 22. I made it difficult for myself by putting two great singers together."

After the performance, Kylie Minogue offers her opinion: "You both did a great job but I would lean towards Georgia."

But only Sir Tom can split the two - who do you think he will pick? Make your predictions in the comments below!
