Kelsey-Beth Crossley has blamed her dress on being axed from The Voice 2014.

The soap star was eliminated from the competition during the battle rounds on Saturday night after being vocally annihilated by Emily Adams in a performance of Fighter by Christina Aguilera.

However Kelsey-Beth suggested the choice of her outfit - which was actually dictated by show bosses - gave her a lack of confidence.

The former Emmerdale actress, who recently had a boob job to go from size 34A to 34DD, said: “I was gutted I didn’t have my boobs done in time for The Voice.

“I was in a really low-cut dress and that was actually one of the moments where I felt really uncomfortable because we didn’t get much say in what we were wearing."

She explained: “When I was put in it my confidence went right down because it was slashed almost to my belly button. I didn’t feel as confident as I could have.”

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Kelsey-Beth went on to reveal how her boob job has given her confidence again after losing so much weight.

“I used to have boobs when I was bigger but when I lost weight they just went,” she told the tabloid. “But after the op I am more confident and womanly. I even walk differently. People said I slouched before but now I lead with my boobs!”

And the 21-year-old confessed to having a bit of a crush on mentor Ricky Wilson, but who doesn't?!

She said: “I fancied him a bit, the whole nation does! He looks like Ryan Gosling, he has that sparkle behind his eyes."
