The Voice 2014 spoilers! Anna McLuckie ditches the harp in the battles

Anna McLuckie (The Voice 2014)

Anna McLuckie will be ditching her harp on The Voice UK this weekend.

The Scottish singer wowed on this year's first blind audition show with a Harp rendition of Daft Punk's Get Lucky.

The performance prompted a war between Ricky Wilson and Will.i.am to get the teenager on their teams with Will winning out.

This weekend is the battles with Anna facing off against Jessica Steele but the harp won't be Anna's secret weapon.

“I wanted to show I wasn’t a one trick pony and show a different side to my singing," she says ahead of the performance. “I was daunted about the battle round and worried if I was given a really big song it would be impossible for me to sing.”

Speaking to the Daily Record newspaper, Anna says she reckons she made the right choice in choosing Will back during the auditions.

Sorry, Ricky!

“I had to choose between him and Ricky and I made the right choice," Anna explained. “I’d have loved to have worked for them both but I’d have regretted it if I hadn’t gone with Will.

“He’s incredible in the studio and very nurturing. He gave me great tips on how to relax and how to look at all this.

“He makes it into a big laugh which makes it easier.”
