The Voice 2014 judge Ricky Wilson is facing fix claims over one of his acts.
Last night we saw Ricky turn for Jamie Lovatt in the latest blind auditions with the 24-year-old choosing to join the Kaiser Chief frontman's team.
But Jamie has let slip that the pair have some history having been signed to the same record label.
Jamie told the coaches that he - and his band Romance - had been signed and dropped but didn't reveal that it was with the same company that Ricky's own band is with.
"I remember thinking when I auditioned 'I'm sure he recognises me'," he said this week. "A few days after my audition Ricky greeted all his acts and the first thing he did was walk towards me and say 'I know a lot about you'.
"That's when we got a chance to talk about being on the same label. He'd spoken to people who knew me."
Jamie - who also had Kylie Minogue turning for his performance of Everybody's Free - added: "We had a connection because of us being on the same label. We got on like a house on fire. We still do."
According to the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper, both Ricky and Jamie were signed to Fiction Records "for a number of years" with Ricky and his band the Kaiser Chiefs still with the label.
Of course the usual 'fix' claims don't make much sense on The Voice UK as the coaches are unable to see or speak with the acts before they commit to them.
A BBC insider said: "We always ensure everything is done fairly."
