The telly host could be set to leave Channel 5’s Big Brother and The Voice on the BBC in order to take up a big deal on This Morning.
According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, Emma is wanted by ITV's head of daytime TV, Helen Warner, in a bid to boost ratings.
An 'ITV source' told the tabloid this morning: “Emma is hugely talented and has so much potential to be one of the channel’s most high profile faces.
“They have a reputation for having great women and Emma would add to those already there and strengthen their position in the TV industry.”
However it could all mean a bidding war between ITV and BBC for Emma with previous reports suggesting that the Beeb were hoping to poach the brunette beauty permanently to front more of their shows.
An insider claimed earlier this month: “The BBC are hoping she’ll stick with them and not totally defect to ITV [This Morning].
“She’s liked by women and men. She’s intelligent and can turn her hand to lots of different things.”
Any move would leave Big Brother in need of what would be its third new presenter in as many years with Emma Willis having replaced Brian Dowling only last summer.
