The next stage of the competition is the battle rounds as the coaches will pitch their artists against one another in knockout battle rounds, ditching one hopeful in each pairing just like last year.

This will leave each coach with six acts, but the Steal twist is back making things a bit more complicated.

The coaches can then add a seventh singer to their group by stealing one of the artists rejected by their rival mentors.

If more than one coach wants to steal the same person, it’ll be the wannabe themselves who gets to decide which team to join just like in the auditions.

The marathon battle rounds begin next Saturday on BBC One with a more than two hour long show from 7PM.
