The Voice UK spoilers: Nu-Tarna's Elesha Paul Moses goes solo

Elesha Paul Moses (The Voice 2014)

Elesha Paul Moses is hoping for more success on The Voice UK 2014 now she's a solo act.

Elesha appeared on last year's show as part of duo Nu-Tarna and won a spot on Team Will.i.am.

"We got into the battle rounds but we didn't make it through, so we decided to go our separate ways," Elesha recalls. "As part of Nu-Tarna I had to play a role.

"This year I just want people to see me as me. I'm my own person"

The singer continues: "Coming back is a big risk, if I didn't get a turn this time around it would be really hard to take, that doubt would start coming in.

"Going out on stage on my own is going to be scary. I pray that I am good enough and I hope that the coaches hear that."

And ditching her singing partner isn't the only change for Elesha who has got rid of the blue mohawk and returns with a much more more laid back and understated personality.

Singing Everything Has Changed by Taylor Swift for the coaches at the blind auditions, Elesha gives a very different performance compared to last year.

But with Will.i.am thinking that there are two people on stage singing, it doesn't look as though Elesha's audition is getting off to the start she had hoped...

The Voice 2014 airs tonight at 7:10PM on BBC One.
