The Voice UK ratings bounced back last night to rise week-on-week.

After last week's second auditions episode lost nearly a million viewers on the launch show, the BBC One series was up almost 300,000 viewers on last Saturday yesterday.

An average audience of 7.9 million tuned in for the latest blind auditions between 7PM and 8:15PM.

The show peaked with just under 9.6 million viewers as another six budding performers won spots on the four teams.

Over on ITV and Splash! moved to a slightly earlier slot to get a 15-minute head start on The Voice.

However it didn't quite work out, falling just under 200,000 viewers week-on-week to a series low of 3.7 million, including those who caught up an hour later on ITV+1, for the fourth and final live heat.

Meanwhile Celebrity Big Brother continued on Channel 5 with a solid 2 million viewers in the hour from 9:30PM.
