The Voice 2014 auditions are set to see Adele's cousin Georgia Harrup perform for the panel this weekend.
The 27-year-old is said to "stun the coaches" with her cover of Hallelujah I Love Her So by Ray Charles.
Although the link to Adele is rather tenuous - Georgia's is the brother of Adele’s grandmother - the singer puts her talent down to "good genes."
Georgia confessed this week she only found out about her famous relative in 2009.
"One day my dad rang his family and asked how everyone was doing and they said, ‘Adele is on tour, doing really well’," she told The Sun newspaper. “He asked what she was doing touring and they said, ‘She’s that Adele’.”
“He came off the phone and told me that the person whose album I loved was related to me. I couldn’t believe it, as she was always a massive inspiration to me anyway.”
And showing just how weak the link between the pair is, Georgia has only ever met Adele once, at a family party when the pair were kids.
Georgia added: “I didn’t want to push my career in her face so she felt obliged to help me. If she made contact I think I’d just sit there in a daze.”
The Voice 2014 continues this Saturday night on BBC One with the latest blind auditions.
