Will.i.am has confessed that the popularity of Kylie Minogue had be hard to deal with on The Voice 2014.
The Black Eyed Peas singer revealed how many acts auditioning for the new series came only for the Aussie popstar, making hard for himself and Kylie's other rival coaches to get them on their own teams.
He said: "They come to the show for a particular coach, and there’s a lot of singers this year who came to be coached by Kylie.
“I can tell that when we have to pitch against Kylie and I’ll be like ‘Oh ok, you came for Kylie’, and that happened a lot."
Will added: There’s a level of success that people want to achieve. There are great singers and there are great performers, and Kylie is both of those."
Meanwhile, Kylie has said she hopes that her predecessor Jessie J will still be enjoying the show following its debut last week.
“I think Jessie did a great job, and especially for someone so young to be in that position and do the hard work in series one, especially when the show was the unknown – and then to go on and have more fun with the second series," Kylie explained.
Speaking at last week's press launch in London, the pintsize popstar continued: “Jessie is a phenomenal talent, and you know, the spunk that she has. I really admire all that, but I’m a completely different character so I don’t want to even try to take her place as it were.
“But I hope that Jessie enjoys seeing me in her seat. I’m very proud to have taken the reins from her.”
The Voice UK continues this Saturday night on BBC One.
