The Voice UK: Ofcom won't investigate complaints over Holly Willoughby's dress

TV watchdog Ofcom has said they won't be bothering with complaints over Holly Willoughby's boobs on The Voice UK.

The blonde beauty wasn't shy in showcasing her assets during this year's series, but a daring black dress during the weekend's final proved to be a bit too much from some viewers.

A peak audience of close to 9 million watched the final last month BBC one, but almost 200 have complained that Holly's choice of clothing was inappropriate for such a family show

A show source defended the look at the time, telling TV industry magazine Broadcast that the outfit did not go "against audience expectations for a TV spectacle such as this".

"We're sorry if some viewers found Holly's dress to be unsuitable," a BBC spokesperson added to the publication.

"Holly enjoys fashion and we felt the dress she wore for the live final of The Voice UK was glamorous and wholly appropriate for the occasion."

Today, a spokesperson for Ofcom announced that the complaints would not be investigated.

He said: “We decided there was no merit in a full investigation.”
