The Voice 2014 coaches: Rita Ora, Cheryl Cole favourites to replace Jessie J

Cheryl Cole

Cheryl Cole and Rita Ora are amongst the favourites to replace Jessie J on The Voice UK.

Although we're not entirely sure either of the girls exactly fit in with the show's title.

Following Jessie J’s announcement on Twitter last week that she will no longer be a coach for the next series of The Voice, bookmakers William Hill have opened the betting on the Coaching panel for 2014.

Existing coaches, Danny O’Donoghue, Tom Jones and Will.I.Am are favourites to keep their seats for the 2014 competition, despite previously declaring they'd only return alongside Jessie.

As for the mystery fourth spot, upcoming star Rita Ora is 2/1 to be the newbie on the panel followed by ex X Factor judge Cheryl Cole at 4/1.

Both girls have previously judged on The X Factor before, but we'd like to think bosses may decide on a more less obvious choice.

“Jessie J is a huge personality and will be a hard act to follow”, said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams. “The three remaining coaches are odds-on to stay and it’s anybody’s guess who will fill the fourth seat”.

Other names include Emeli Sande and Florence Welch, both at 6/1, former X Factor champ Alexandra Burke at 10/1, Sir Tom Jones' battle rounds adviser Cerys Matthews (11/1) and Scissor Sisters singer Ana Matronic, who has also previously appeared on the show.

In more unlikely (read: never going to happen) bets, last year's Leanne Mitchell is an outisder at 33/1 to replace Jessie.
