The Voice 2014 coaches: Jessie J hasn't been asked back

The Voice UK 2013 - Jessie J

The Voice UK coach Jessie J has admitted she's not been invited back to next year's series.

Speaking ahead of the third run of the show, which will start filming later this year, Jessie insisted she wasn't thinking about it.

Instead she's focusing on her album, with Jessie telling The Sun newspaper: “I’m not thinking about it yet. I haven’t been asked, so I don’t want to think about it until I’m asked.

“But, you know what? The final was so much fun.

“Andrea Begley has an amazing voice. The finalists were so different and this year I just felt we (the coaches) were all more comfortable.”

Will.i.am revealed previously that he HAD been invited to return, although wouldn't agree until he knew if the other coaches would also be back.

He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I’ve been asked to do series three, but it would depend on who else was there and it would be a hard decision. I feel like I’m married to Jessie so it would be weird if she wasn’t there. It’s like cheating."

But the Daily Mail claimed earlier this month that producers were keen to get rid of both Jessie J and Sir Tom Jones, with a source saying: "The producers know the show needs a real shake-up.

"Jessie is incredibly unpopular with viewers and Tom looks bored the majority of the time. Something has to change."
