The Voice 2013 winner Andrea Begley vows she won't be a flop!

The Voice UK 2013 winner Andrea Begley has vowed to not to flop and release music as soon as she can.

Although things haven't started off too well for her, with the youngster's cover of Angel by Sarah McLachlan not yet available to download.

But when things do get moving, Andrea is keen to push for a quick release.

She said: "It’s key to strike while the iron is hot. I would like to bring out an album very soon rather than waiting for things to die down a bit, so I can capitalise on what I have done.

“I want to get material out really quickly. I have got a few of my own songs that I would like to be produced properly.”

But Andrea added: "I don’t want to do something rushed or that I’m not happy with. There needs to be balance. But I have already spent a lot of time on my material so hopefully when I go into the studio with a producer it will be a shorter process for me.”

27-year-old Andrea, who proved a surprise winner ahead of favourite Leah McFall in last night's show, also revealed she hoped to team up with her mentor Danny O'Donoghue on a track.

She told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “He has expressed an interest in writing with me. And I’d love it to happen. I feel like there are a lot of opportunities.

“I’d love to do collaborations with acts like Ed Sheeran and Mumford & Sons as well. And I really admire Adele.”
