The Voice UK coaches may not be back next year

The Voice UK coaches reportedly face the axe after this year's series, but are putting up a united front.

According to the Daily Mail, BBC bosses are in a sticky position with the four piece - Danny O'Donoghue, Will.i.am, Jessie J and Sir Tom Jones - all agreeing to only return if they're all back.

Sir Tom said recently: "The four of us make a great team — one without the other wouldn’t work."

And Will agreed, saying: “I’d be up for coming back. I like hanging out with Jessie and Dan and Tom’s company.”

The BBC has already signed a new deal for a third run of the singing contest, to air on the channel next Spring.

Sources claim that a refreshed panel could help the new series, following a rather steep decline in viewing figures for this year's show.

"The producers know the show needs a real shake-up," an insider told the newspaper. "Jessie is incredibly unpopular with viewers and Tom looks bored the majority of the time. Something has to change."

Black Eyed Peas star Will previously admitted he wouldn't be too surprised if programme makers did decide to revamp the coaching line up.

“I would be cool if they replaced me, I don’t stress out,” he told The Sun newspaper. “If they want to hit the refresh button I would just think I’d had a good time the two years I was on it.

“Then I’d be freaking judgemental on whoever they put in my place,” will.i.am joked. “But I’m having a good time, I like the other coaches and I’m enjoying myself.”
