The Voice 2013 ratings were back up last night for the latest live show, following last week's low.

The first live show of the series last Friday had fewer than 5 million viewers, but yesterday evening saw the highest viewing figures since the battle rounds.

With the show now back in its usual Saturday time slot, and no clash with Britain's Got Talent to worry about, the semi-finals attracted 5.81 million viewers between 7PM and 9:10PM, the most watched telly programme of the night.

It was up over 1.5 million viewers on last week's live opener, with a peak audience of close to 7 million tuning in for the latest Voice 2013 results.

It was also the first episode this series to be up on its equivalent from last year, although 2012's semi-final was forced into a much earlier slot due to Eurovision.

The Voice 2013 concludes next Saturday night on BBC One.

Meanwhile, over on Channel 5, Big Brother's first full highlights show of the new series saw almost a million viewers tune out over night.

Last night's show between 9:10PM and 10:10PM was watched by an average audience of 1.3 million, including those who caught up on Channel 5+1.

It was some 800,000 viewers down on Friday's show, the second half of a double live launch.

Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5.
