The Voice 2013 final: Leah McFall win could cost bookies £100,000 payout

Leah McFall (The Voice UK)

Bookies stand to lose £100,000 if Leah McFall wins The Voice 2013 this weekend.

The 23-year-old remains the red hot favourite to win, and some ballsy punters have been putting as much as £10,000 on the Belfast student triumphing.

Leah's sailed through every round of the show so far, but this weekend will be the first time that the teams go head to head, with Matt Henry, Andrea Begley and Mike Ward all hoping to cause an upset.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “We’ve had four times the amount of bets on Leah than anyone else.

“Karl Michael has the next biggest payout at £14,000, so that really shows how popular Leah is.

“Every man and his dog wants to back her however short the price is. We’re on course for the biggest-ever Voice pay-out if Leah wins."

Going into Saturday's final, Leah remains odds-on at 2/5 as the final four were announced on Saturday's show.

Andrea occupies second in the betting with odds of 5/1, Mike's next in line at 11/2, but unfortunately for Matt he finds himself least favoured with the bookies as a 9/1 chance.

The Voice UK final airs Saturday on BBC One.
