The Voice 2013: Leah McFall becomes odds-on favourite

Leah McFall (The Voice UK)

Leah McFall is now odds-on to win The Voice 2013 in the final this month.

Despite being trounced in the ratings war by the Britain's Got Final talent over the weekend it didn't stop Leah from putting in a winning performance in the first live show on Friday evening, and the singer from Belfast is now quoted as short as 1/2 to win The Voice later this month.

The fashion student is on course to chart in the top 10 this week of the official charts, with her cover of I Will Survive currently at number 3 in the midweeks.

Leah's closest rival in the betting comes from Ash Morgan with odds of 11/2 or it's 10/1 that Andrea Begley steals the limelight.

Unfortunately for Cleo Higgins she finds herself as the rank outsider of the competition at 40/1.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "It's game over as far as we're concerned, the rest of the series should merely be a walk in the park now for Leah."

This weekend's Voice UK semi-final will see another four acts - one from each team - cut, and this week it'll be the public alone who decide, with no more fast passes for the coaches to give out.

Saturday night's second live show will also see a performance from Avril Lavigne, singing her new track Here's To Never Growing Up.
