Will.i.am has promised to continue to coach axed The Voice UK artist Leanne Jarvis, following Friday night's first live show.
Four acts were culled in the quarter-finals, one from each team.
Leanne was the unlucky loser from Team Will, but is optimistic about the future.
The Essex performer, who sung Rihanna's Where Have You Been, said after her exit: "I've been wanting this for so long, so to do a live show is the best experience, this has been amazing platform, this is not the end this is just the beginning for me."
"Will told me to carry on and stay in touch!"
Also bowing out of the show on Friday night was Welsh singer Alys Williams, who last year had failed to make it even past the blind auditions.
She said: "I don't actually remember the performance, it was so overwhelming and nerve wrecking, the comments were fantastic and I never expected to get this far."
Alys added: "Leha Mcfall is unreal!"
And what's now for Alys? She says: "I've been writing loads of songs so next up it's gigging an seeing what's happening."
The Voice UK continues this Saturday night with the live semi-finals on BBC One.
