The Voice UK's Leah McFall could be on course to get a number one hit - and beat Jessie J in the charts!

The Belfast singer wowed the panel and viewers on Friday night during The Voice's first live show, performing a cover of I Will Survive.

Leah's take on the classic hit saw her secure a spot in the semi-finals as coach's fast pass artist, and her performance is now on course to top the charts.

This year the BBC have released performances by the artists to download websites like iTunes, with at least 20p from each 59p track going to the BBC's Performing Arts Fund charity.

Leah's I Will Survive cover shot straight into the Top Ten within the the first 24 hours of being on sale and is now looking set to hit the top spot.

The track is currently at Number 3 on the iTunes charts and is expected to enter the Official Charts tonight despite having been on sale for all of two days.

The song has overtaken not only the debut from X Factor rivals Union J but also the new single from Voice coach Jessie, Wild, which peaked at number five.
