The Voice UK artists will be releasing their live performances for download this year, and it's already paying off.
Last night saw the first live show, with all twelve of the finalists singing for the public vote.
This year, each artist has recorded a studio version of their live show track which has been released onto download sites such as iTunes, with a portion of every sale going towards the BBC's Performing Arts Charity Fund.
But unlike the tracks released by The X Factor during its live shows, The Voice UK tracks - at least at the moment - are appearing in the charts.
X Factor bosses made their songs illegible to chart, meaning we had no idea how popular (or not) the covers or acts were.
It's a different story with The Voice right now however, and we can clearly see that Leah's voice is ready for the primetime already.
The Belfast student wowed with a new take on I Will Survive yesterday evening and, as of writing, her cover is at Number 9 in the iTunes charts.
And somewhat ironically, the track has pushed the debut single from X Factor rivals Union J out of the top ten.
No other tracks from the first live show are currently in the Top 40, but in the Top 100 there's Team Tom's Mike Ward and Team Danny pair Andrea Begley and Karl Michael.
