Ash Morgan, Joseph Apostol, Andrea Begley and Leah McFall have made it through to the Voice 2013 semi-finals in tonight's first live show.

This evening saw all twelve of the live finalists sing for the public's vote for the first time, but there was a twist.

As in the knockouts, each coach was given a 'fast pass' to give to one of their artists to send them straight through to the semi-finals next week.

Speaking before the decision, Will admitted: “It’s going to be tough. I don’t want to think about it right now.”

“I’m not looking forward to making that decision at all," agreed Danny.

Jessie said: “ The person I’ll be taking through is the person that blows my mind. And right now I don’t know who that is.”

After the acts had performed, the four coaches each had to choose their fast pass finalist.

Jessie chose Ash Morgan

Sir Tom chose Joseph Apostol

Danny chose Andrea Begley

Will chose Leah McFall

It means all four of the acts have secured their spot in next week's second live show.

For the others however it means a nervous wait as the public vote for their favourite.

One act from each team will be booted out of the series in the results show, tonight from 9:30PM on BBC One.
