The Voice UK coaches have been accused of fixing the results of last night's battle rounds.

Last night saw some shock decisions, as the final contestants for the knockouts decided.

One battle saw Jessie J pit Letitia Grant Brown against Alex Buchanan, with Jessie siding with Letitia, leaving Alex to be 'stolen' by Danny.

But it's been claimed that Jessie and Danny had already arranged the result before the performance.

The source told The Sun newspaper today: “Jessie took Danny to one side before the show and said she preferred Letitia’s voice, but didn’t want to see Alex leave.

"So the pair agreed she would take Letitia through and Danny would save Alex."

The insider added to the tabloid: “Viewers were led to believe Jessie was facing a decision between the artists based on their battle, but it was already a done deal.

"It makes a mockery of the idea that a singer’s fate hangs on how they perform on the night.”

Speaking after the battle last night, Jessie J said: "This was my , I don’t want to say game plan, but I’m really happy. For me it the better decision that Alex went with Danny.”

It wasn't the only bizarre result of the night, with favourite Liam Tamne bowing out in tears after a shock decision by Will.i.am.

A spokesperson for the BBC didn't comment.

The Voice UK continues next weekend on BBC One.
