Country singer Emma impressed the panel to land on Team Tom, while De'Vide were on Team Jessie until their exit in the battles at the weekend.
According to The Sun Emma and Lex fell for one another during the blind auditions earlier this year, despite there being 14 years between them.
A show insider told the newspaper: “It is early days but things are going well for Emma and Lex — the chemistry between them is obvious.
“The age gap has raised a few eyebrows but it doesn’t bother them.”
De'Vide were eliminated at the weekend, with Emma sending her support online: “Very proud of my boy tonight! I knew you were going to kill it! #nottheend@LexDeVide”.
Meanwhile, Lex and his bandmate have hit out at Jessie J over their treatment on the show.
The pair claimed they barely saw Jessie before their battle performance, and suggested she had already decided to send them home over Danny County.
“We had about 30 to 45 minutes with them and Claude said we were unprepared for the session which was unfair," they told the Daily Star.
The boys added: “In hindsight we should have changed the song because it was complex for us. They expected results straight away. I got the impression that Jessie had given up on us even before we had performed.”
The Voice continues on BBC One on May 25.
