Axed The Voice 2013 artist Nate James has said he wants to continue to fly under the radar with his career.
The former MOBO nominee was a shock exit in last night's latest battle rounds, losing his fight to Lovelle Hill on Team Jessie.
Now back at square one, Nate said he hopes to get back into the studio and work on a future number one hit.
Although he confessed he wasn't too keen on the spotlight.
The 33-year-old explained: “When I go to the pub or I walk down Oxford Street or wherever I get recognised more now because I’m in the show.
“But I live quite a quiet life in the UK so if I do actually make it to number one in the UK then everyone is going to know who I am.
“So do I kind of want that like the Beckhams or the likes of, God rest her soul, Amy [Winehouse], life in a fishbowl kind of thing?"
Nate continued: "Everyone wants to be successful in their own country but I’m kind of in two minds"
Meanwhile, Nate said he'd love to team up with former coach Jessie on a track, despite her axing him from the competition.
He added to Bang! Showbiz: "I’d love to work with Jessie. Whether it’s me featuring her or her featuring me remains to be seen.
“She’s a great writer so it would be great to do a track with her. I think she’s fantastic so it would be brilliant to work with her but we’ll see what happens.”
