LB Robinson has claimed he's happy to be out of The Voice UK.
The music teacher bowed out of the show in last night's opening battle rounds, in a surprise decision by Sir Tom Jones.
But LB isn't too upset, saying he never wanted to win the show anyway.
"I’m really pleased with the way everything went. I’m not a reality TV guy and if it had been up to me I’d have been happy to go home right after Sir Tom Jones turned his chair," he explained today. “I was pleased when I wasn’t chosen. The Voice is an incredible opportunity and platform but I feel my path is to do it the traditional way. That feels more organic and natural.
“This way I’ve had the platform and now I can go off and do my own thing — write my own music and sing my own songs."
LB added: “You could say that I think The Voice is a quick fix.”
Sir Tom chose Jamie Bruce over LB in yesterday's show, to the shock of his fellow coaches.
But LB understood the choice, saying: "I was really pleased for Jamie and I do feel like he could win it. We have kept in touch since but I haven’t heard from Tom.”
Meanwhile, Alice Barlow has refused to comment on whether or not she's still in touch with mentor Danny O'Donoghue!
The Hollyoaks beauty also left last night, but not before snuggling up to The Script frontman.
"Danny is a lovely man and he is very attractive but I do have a long-term boyfriend," she said. “I don’t want to say whether I have been in touch with him. No comment!
