In the Battles each Coach must pair up their acts to sing against each other in a vocal showdown to decide who will progress to the next stage.
After each Battle, the Artists’ own Coach must decide who will progress to the next round and who to send home.
But this year, there's an extra twist.
After each Battle, it’s not quite over for the losing Artist. In a dramatic new change to the format, the Coaches can “Steal” a losing Artist for their own team. So if they missed out on an Artist they loved during the Blind Auditions, now’s their chance to finally grab them for their team.
So, who do we think will come out on top, here's our predictions and be sure to add your own in the comments below!
Jordan Lee Davis v Matt Henry
- Do I Do by Stevie Wonder
We reckon this will prove to be an easy choice for Will, and Matt Henry will be sailing through to the next round.
Nu Tarna v Cleo Higgins
- Finally by Cece Peniston
Having wowed all four coaches in the blind auditions, we see Cleo Higgins needing to make a huge mistake not to make it into the knockouts over Nu Tarna.
Andrea Begley v Alice Barlow
- People Help The People by Birdy
A pair of very evenly matched performers, and while Andrea has the Irish charm, Alice has already proved to have the looks for Danny! We reckon The Script frontman will focus on the talent however and go with Andrea.
Katie Benbow v Sarah Cassidy
- ET by Katy Perry
This could be a close one and we're not entirely sure which way it will go on the night. Katie could definitely have fun with the song choice, but Sarah has experience on her side. We reckon Jessie may play it safe and go with Sarah.
Ash Morgan v Adam Barron
- I Won't Let You Go by James Morrison
This looks like it could be a rather epic performance but we can't help but think Ash already has it in the bag. This is a battle where we reckon there could be a steal too, with Danny a prime candidate for swooping in to take Adam.
Jamie Bruce v LB Robinson
- When Love Comes to Town by U2
To big soul singers battling on an even bigger song, Sir Tom's made it hard for himself. We feel the Welsh performer will go with LB, but wouldn't be too shocked if Jamie pinches it either!
