The 'Laserlight' singer however reckons she is doing much better this time around, despite a slating by telly critics and some fans of the show.
“I can come across as a bit irritating sometimes, watching it back," Jessie tells Top Of the Pops magazine this month. “I looked at a picture of myself and was like, ‘You look a bit scary!’”
Now Jessie thinks she's more relaxed in front of the camera, having moved from off the stage (albeit to a seat just in front).
She explained: “I feel a lot more comfortable and a lot more relaxed second time around.
“I know what I’m doing now and I understand the format of the show more."
And Jessie hoped that the changes made to the format throughout the series would see more viewers tuning in.
She teased: “We’ve learned from the last series and we’ve become more confident in each other and in how we talk to each other. And the talent is out of this world!”
Last week saw Jessie hit back at her critics after the first few episodes of the new series had aired.
She said: "An edited version is never the full story. You wouldn’t write a review on a book after reading 3 pages would you?”
Jessie added to her millions of followers: “When you go to bitch about someone you have never met….Think….for a second before you do… ‘Oh yeah I have NEVER met them’”
The Voice UK auditions conclude this weekend on BBC One.
