The Voice 2013: Jessie J reckons hopefuls are 'too scared' to work with her

Jessie J (The Voice UK)

The Voice UK 2013 coach Jessie J has claimed that female hopefuls are too scared of her.

Jessie, the lone girl on The Voice panel, reckons she's been putting off potential stars from joining her team.

Tonight we'll see Jessie and her fellow coaches - Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Danny O'Donoghue - back in their chairs for more blind auditions.

But the hopefuls, which include last year's contestant Alys Williams, don't opt to join Team Jessie.

The Laserlight singer is seen moaning: “I just want females to not be scared to work with me.”

A supposed show insider the Daily Star today: “For whatever reason a lot of girls just don’t pick her.

“She’s getting a bee in her bonnet about it because she’s missing out on all great singers.”

But despite Jessie's comments, she goes into tonight's show with the biggest team of the four coaches, having secured three of her twelve singers.

Sir Tom and Danny have just one each, while Will has two acts in his group.

The Voice UK airs Saturday night on BBC One from 7PM.
