The Voice 2013: Alys Williams returns after failing last year

Alys Williams (The Voice 2013)

Alys Williams returns to The Voice UK Saturday night after originally being rejected last year.

The Welsh performer previously performed Someone Like You for the coaches, but none of them turned around.

Having taken on their advice, Alys is back and this weekend will be seen singing for, Jessie J, Danny O'Donoghue and Sir Tom Jones again.

Although they won't realise that at first.

Last year saw Sir Tom Jones admit he regretted not pressing his buzzer for Alys, while told the mum of two that he was hoping Danny would turn around for her.

"I think your voice is amazing, I don’t think there was anything wrong with ahat you did," Will commented last Spring. “I didn’t to turn around because I’m trying to pack my team with diversity and I was trying to get the other coaches to turn around.”

He continued: “I kept saying ‘Danny, Danny you need her because I have someone on my team.’

“Next time I won’t be telling ya’ll what to do.”

Sir Tom added: ” I’m sorry I didn’t hit the button.”

Speaking backstage to host Holly after her original audition, Alys remarked: “That was more scary than giving birth.”

We dread to think how she feels this time!

See if any of the coaches press their buzzer as The Voice UK airs Saturday night on BBC One from 7PM.
