The Voice 2013 coaches REALLY don't like being called judges

The Voice UK 2013 - Tom Jones

The Voice UK stars are coaches, not judges, and dare anyone say otherwise!

Saturday night saw, Jessie J, Sir Tom Jones and Danny O'Donoghue return to BBC One for a second series.

The four piece offered critique and comment on all of the performers, even those that didn't make it.

But they insisted there was no judging on the Voice, only helpful advice.

In a slight against the likes of Britain's Got Talent and The X Factor, Danny said: "The difference between this show and other shows is we take singers seriously.

"We coach, on a lot of other talent shows, we have judges."

And agreed, adding: "It's not about comedy, ridicule or judgement, it's about 'Wow, did you hear that?'"

Jessie J added: "I don't like people judging me so I'm not going to do it to someone else."

Meanwhile, Sir Tom Jones insisted that The Voice didn't care about chart success when it came to picking their artists.

He said: "We're not trying to think 'Oh, is this person commercial?' we're thinking about the raw talent."

The Voice 2013 continues this Saturday night on BBC One.
