The Voice UK coaches to open Series Two with rock medley

The Voice UK 2013 Blind Auditions - Coaches' Performance

The Voice UK 2013 coaches have recorded a rock medley to open the new series with this weekend.

Series 2 of the voice UK starts on Saturday on BBC one, and the shows coaches have put together an epic performance kick off the new search for talent.

Will.I.am, Danny O'Donoghue, Sir Tom Jones and Jessie J are all back on the reality talent contest or a second run this spring.

Last year saw the group opening with a cover of Black Eyed Peas hit I've Got A Feeling, but this year the foursome have gone even further with a medley of hits.

Danny plays the guitar alongside Jessie, Sir Tom and Will, who is seen singing with the audience on Isley Brothers' track Shout.

And Sir Tom reckons it's their group performances that gives the Voice a lead over its rivals.

He said this week: "It is disappointing when you see a judge and they are a performer and they can’t even sing.

"That makes our show more credible because we are not TV personalities. We are all performers.”

Although it did take three takes for the four piece to complete their performance when recording in Manchester last year.

The medley of hits will debut online this week and air at the start of the first audition show on Saturday night.
