The Voice UK 2013 coach Danny O’Donoghue was apparently left frustrated earlier this week after filming for the show over ran.
The busy singer was reportedly annoyed by his fellow coaches agonising over their decisions on which artists to take through to the live shows.
The last round of eliminations saw a new twist called the knockouts, as the teams were halved after getting just one killer performance to impress their coach.
The official BBC Voice Twitter account teased earlier in the week: "And so concludes the pre-recorded bits. To our artists, you were amazing. To our coaches, you were amazing. To our beds, you look amazing."
And it sounds as though there were some stand out performances as the artists fought for a spot in the live shows, with the account later earlier tweeting: "It's that time again, people. @TheScript_Danny's hairs are all standing up. It's a hairy ovation. He's Hairy O'Donoghue. Hair of fame. #hair"
Bosses have made plenty of improvements to the shows format this year, following in the steps of the US show.
“There’s loads of different changes, knockout stages, there’s parts where we can steal each other’s artists,” Danny revealed recently.
But The Script frontman found himself double booked after agreeing to a gig in DUBAI the day after recording finished.
A source told the Daily Star: “Because of the new format this year, filming did over run.”
