The Voice UK 2013: Jessie J wants to be the new Simon Cowell!

Jessie J (The Voice UK 2013)

The Voice UK coach Jessie J has warned she's going to become reality telly's new Simon Cowell, with tough and honest feedback on her acts.

At just 24, Jessie J is by far the youngest of the coaches, which include Tom Jones, Will.i.am, and The Script singer Danny O’Donoghue.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Jessie revealed: “I may be young but I'm not scared of being critical.

“I like how Simon Cowell says exactly what he thinks whether people like it or not.

“I don't care if people don’t like me and I’m prepared for that. Even if they are on my team that doesn’t mean I’m going to say it was good if it wasn’t."

The youngster suggested that the music industry needed more honesty, and she was going to lead by example.

Jessie also admitted she was "sh***ing herself" about the new series, but in a good way, and said she loved that bosses have kept the panel the same this year.

She confessed: “I’m not going to lie. I’m sh***ing myself but in a good way.

"And I’m really happy that I’m the only girl on the panel.”

The Voice UK will start on BBC One in March.
