The Voice UK 2013 battles kick off filming this weekend, as the coaches prepare to whittle down their artists.
After the blind auditions in Manchester last month, the coaches each have 12 singers in their groups.
Now for the tough bit, as Danny O'Donoghue, Will.i.am, Jessie J and Sir Tom Jones must axe more than half ahead of the live shows later in the year.
The official Voice Twitter account quipped this morning: "STOP! Battles time."
Last year's battles saw the coaches pit two of their artists against one another in a knockout round as both performed a duet together, with one singer in each pairing going through while the other went home.
But this year is set to see some changes, with more drama as the coaches are given the power to 'steal' one another's artists.
Danny previously teased the changes, which follow in the steps of the US show.
“There’s loads of different changes, knockout stages, there’s parts where we can steal each other’s artists,” he said last month
The Script singer revealed: “They’ve tinkered with the format to actually make it a really, really great experience from start to finish.
“We’re mad excited about getting in to do season two.”
The Voice UK 2013 will air on BBC One from March 30.
