The second series will premiere alongside the return of Doctor Who on the Easter weekend, running for 13 weeks.
A source claimed: "There is a lot riding on The Voice this yea. I needs to succeed to prove its critics wrong."
However bosses have insisted that nothing is yet confirmed about the premiere date.
The Voice returns with coaches Will.i.am, Jessie J, Tom Jones and Danny O’Donoghue at the helm.
They’ll be joined by hosts Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates on the music series once more, which features budding performers taking part in blind auditions.
Hopefuls come onto the stage in silence, performing while the coaches sit with their backs turned. If a coach likes what they hear, then they can press their buzzer to signal they want that singer on their team.
And in a twist, if more than one coach wants a singer, it’s up to the auditionee to decide, so expect plenty of dirty tricks from the panel to win their support!
This year bosses have teased a few changes to the format, including knock out stages and yet more drama in the battle rounds.
The Voice UK will continue filming this weekend in London.
