The Voice UK coach Will.i.am has promised more drama from the new series.

The Voice 2013 will start on BBC One in the Spring and the show's team have already kicked off audtions.

Will, Jessie J, Danny O'Donoghue and Sir Tom Jones reunited last week to start building their teams for the second series.

The foursome have been filming auditions in Manchester, and the location isn't the only thing that's changing.

As well as twists to the format, which is expected to see more auditions, bigger battles and ultimately less live shows, the coaches are also approaching the show differently.

Will.i.am said: "The show is going to be different this year.

"There's going to be more stories, more drama, more excitement, more criticism, more honesty, more surprise."

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, he continued: "I already have some great people from the auditions.

"I want someone who can sing."

Auditions for the new series finished filming in Manchester this week, with the show returning to BBC One next Spring.
