The Voice UK coaches reunite for 2013 auditions

Jessie J crying (The Voice UK)

The Voice UK coaches reunited this week for the start of the latest round of auditions, and they got stuck in right away!

This year Jessie J, Will..i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Danny O'Donoghue will be seen whittling down the hopefuls at Manchester's MediaCityUK studios.

A tweet from the official BBC account revealed that filming had got off to quite a start, saying: "Day 1 of The Blinds: done. The standard was amazing. The vocals were incredible. And the coaches were pure gold. Now: sleep (bednam style)! "

It seemed that Will.i.am was back to usual tricks in a bid to win the singers to his team, telling one hopeful: "If you come on my team, we'll ALWAYS wear matching jackets."

He told a second: "I'm not trying to sell it, I'm just trying to tell it. And if you didn't hear, I might have to yell it!"

And Sir Tom Jones hasn't changed either, with some more name drops on the first day.

Meanwhile, Jessie J has revealed she's had to reschedule her tour planned for next Spring.

"I am honestly truly sorry but I hope you all can understand that it's just because I would like to take more time to finish my new album," Jessie told her fans.

"I promise to make this tour my biggest and best ever and cannot wait for you all to hear my new songs," she added.

The Voice UK 2013 will air on BBC One in the Spring.
