The row between the cast and producers of The Only Way Is Essex over pay has rumbled on today.
The stars of the ITV2 series last week reportedly threatened to quit the series, claiming that their £80 a day wage for 13 hour days wasn't enough.
It was claimed that stars including Lauren Goodger were finding the hours of filming tiring and some of the cast even warned they'd go on strike.
Today however it's been revealed that the show's production team has told the cast that they face the axe if they don't stop whinging!
“They know some cast members have been complaining about long hours and low pay but have told them to stop whingeing and get on with it," a source told The Sun today.
And the insider blamed the long hours of filming on the stars of the show.
They added: "Producers are particularly annoyed about time-keeping and the way some of them treat production staff. The stars have been told they have to start arriving on time and must be respectful to the crew.
“They have been told nobody is bigger than the show — and if they don’t like it they should leave as there are loads of people who’d replace them in a heartbeat."
The Only Way Is Essex continues on ITV2 on Wednesdays and Sundays.
