The Only Way Is Essex is set to become a weekly show, thanks to the internet, with special webisodes set to keep viewers up to date with the latest TOWIE gossip.
ITV2 will air four series of the reality show this year, with a second run planned to start in a month's time.
But viewers will be able to keep up with the latest goings on in-between each series with bi-weekly 'webisodes' on the official TOWIE website.
“The main series of The Only Way Is Essex will continue to air on ITV2 but in addition we will screen five-minute ‘webisodes’ twice a week throughout the year," a spokesperson reveals.
“It will give fans the chance to keep an eye on what their favourite stars are up to when the series is taking a break on TV.”
The new online series even has its own name, called Fresh Out Of Essex, or FOOE.
A source told the Daily Star this morning: “The producers have always said the show is a real life soap opera and now it is.
