Furious TOWIE star Lauren Goodger has defiantly hit back at arsonists who attacked her salon, and insisted that she would re-open the shop.
The latest episode of The Only Way Is Essex saw Lauren come to terms with the fire, which happened just hours after she opened the shop last week.
Speaking to The Sun today, Lauren revealed: "Someone could have been killed.
"There's a child upstairs who could have died and it's just horrible to think someone was prepared to do this — to get me — without a thought for anyone's life."
The new salon, called Lauren's Way, had its windows smashed and was set alight just hours after Lauren locked up after its first day trading.
Recalling the event, Lauren explained: "I was in the cinema when Frankie called me, screaming my salon was on fire. I just bolted and drove straight there. Everything was cordoned off with firefighters and police everywhere.
"The family from upstairs were on the street and I could see the salon was just black and full of smoke.
"Me and the girls spent months preparing for the launch and it's devastating this has happened."
But a defiant Lauren added: "Stock has been ruined and there's a lot of work to do — but we WILL open again."
"My original shock has now turned to anger. Whoever has done this is disgusting."
