The Only Way Is Essex hunk James "Arg" Argent has said that The Only Way Is Essex will be better without Amy Childs when it returns for a third series later this year. Speaking to The Sun, Arg said Amy would be missed but the show would quicly move on.
Arg said today: "The Only Way Is Essex will definitely work without Amy.
"In series two she was only in it now and then and series two was just as big as series one, if not bigger. Obviously Amy will be missed but I think from how series two was received it proves the show is more than capable of doing well and carrying on without her being there."
Arg - who recently reunited TOWIE co-star Lydia Bright - added: "I think Amy aspires to be someone like a Kerry Katona or a Jordan whereas the other cast members like myself and Lydia Bright have different aspirations."
And he suggested that Amy made the wrong choice by leaving the show for Big Brother: "The benefits and money you earn on the back of the show outweigh what you'd get if you were paid for something else.
"After the Bafta success I think our viewing figures will hit the roof."
Meanwhile the 23-year-old said things were better than ever with Lydia, "We realised we weren't interested in dating other people. We had problems that we addressed."
The Only Way Is Essex is back in September.
