The Only Way Is Essex's Kirk Norcross has taken the blame for his split from Lauren Pope, telling Closer magazine this week that poor Lauren "did nothing wrong". Kirk, who dumped Lauren earlier this month, added that there was little chance of a reunion.
He said: "My break up was all my fault, Lauren did nothing wrong. I can't stress that enough. I think us Essex people curse our own relationships. We're just no good at them."
The pair went their separate ways just a week after going under the knife together to get separate nose jobs. Speaking about the break up, Lauren admitted recently she was finding it "tough" to move on. “I’m coping OK. You have to get on with it really. It’s tough, if you didn’t get upset over a break-up you would be a bit,” Lauren told BANG! showbiz.
"I’m not thinking about new man right now, I’m just concentrating on this."
Kirk meanwhile has already moved on and is already looking for another girlfriend.
"It's over for good," he explained. "I split up with Lauren twice in a year and I'm still surprised she took me back a second time. I still like her and, if I was older, I'd like to get married, but I just can't do it anymore."
Kirk added: "I would like another girlfriend, but I'd be worried about the relationship being on the next series because you don’t get any privacy."
The Only Way Is Essex returns for a third series on ITV2 in September.
