The Only Way Is Essex spoilers! Watch DRAMATIC first trailer from new series

Here’s your very first look at the brand new series of The Only Way Is Essex.

TOWIE’s return for 2018 has now been confirmed for this weekend – Sunday, 25th March.

The show will air in a new time slot of 9pm with an hour-special on ITVBe.

It’s the show’s 22nd series and the first episode will see the cast swap their usual sunshine getaway in Marbs for Barcelona.

And ahead of the episode, ITVBe have unveiled a first trailer.

“When we said we were going to come back fresh, glam and explosive – We meant it. ?ITVBe tweeted.

They teased: “Make sure you’ve cancelled your Sunday night plans because we promise you – this is one return you do NOT want to miss.?? ”

The trailer begins with Arg and Gemma hand in hand before scenes featuring the cast in Spain as well a much less sunny UK.

There’s no lack of drama with romance, rows and claims of cheating.

Meanwhile, there have been a few changes to the show’s cast with some new and returning faces.

Those said to be “not pulling their weight” were given the boot. Chris Clark, Amber Dowding, and Mike Hassini are among those leaving.

Jack Rigden, Jordan Brook, Maddie Hooper and Ruby Lacey will also not be returning this year.

New cast will include Miss Great Britain Shelby Tribble who is dating Pete Wicks.

Shelby will be joined by her friend, glamour model Clelia Theodorou, who insiders say will “shake things up”.

Alongside the new girls will be Jordan Wright, who previously dated Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison and Dean Ralph, who is friends with Tommy Mallet.

The Only Way Is Essex 2018 airs on ITVBe at 9PM from Sunday, March 25.
