Billie Faiers has quit The Only Way Is Essex after six years on the ITV reality show.
According to The Sun, Billie has told TOWIE producers that she'll be leaving the series in order to focus on her family, and her own TV career.
A TOWIE insider told the newspaper that the TOWIE team had been left "devastated" by Billie's decision.
“Towie bosses were shocked by her exit on Friday and the news quickly spread around the cast. Everyone is already mourning," they told the tabloid today. “It’s no secret that Billie has a lot on her plate with her young daughter and marriage plans and to top it off she also wants to expand her family at some point.
It's said that Billie hopes to follow in sister Sam's footsteps after she was offered her own reality shows on ITVBe.
However TOWIE chiefs say the door is open for Billie to return or make guest appearances in future.
A spokesperson for ITV confirmed: “Billie has recently made us aware that she would like to prioritise family life and little Nelly for the rest of the year.
"We are in full support of this decision and will continue discussing with her how best to move forwards.
"Billie is a much loved and valued member of the Towie team and we are happy she wants to continue working with us.”
