The Only Way Is Essex is set to air a special live episode this Christmas, it's been reported.
The ITV2 series is currently off air, but is apparently preparing a special one-off Christmas show for the festive season.
It'll follow a special summer episode earlier this year, which was based in Marbella, only this one will be live!
And according to The Sun, the Christmas special could also see some of the show's former cast members returning.
The newspaper reports that producers are keen to get the likes of Amy Childs back onto the show, although Lauren Goodger and Mark Wright apparently haven't been invited.
Bosses are also planning to ban any drink from the set in the lead up to the show's broadcast to make sure no one ruins the programme.
A show source told the tabloid this morning: “Doing an episode live is a high-risk strategy but everyone is excited about it.
“We’ve banned any booze because we don’t want any funny business happening. The last thing that we need is them all getting a bit of Dutch courage and it ending up kicking off.”
On potential comebacks, the source added: “We’re more likely to ask Amy Childs.
“Nothing has been decided yet — even the cast don’t know they’re doing this.”
The Only Way Is Essex airs on ITV2 on Sundays and Wednesdays.
