The Only Way Is Essex will get a new production crew for the upcoming series.
The Sun report this morning that the current crew are quitting the hit UK show to make a version in India.
The ITV2 crew will spend months in Mumbai filming the daily lives of India's elite
A source told the tabloid today: “Mumbai is just like Essex in a strange way — its teeming with young people who are obsessed with themselves.
“Bosses are looking for vain, good-looking pals to take the central roles and it hasn’t been hard.
“Just like in Brentwood, the Mumbai social scene is all about looking your best and bitching about your pals and rivals.”
The series will be broadcast in India at first, but could be aired in the UK too.
But the news means that the UK version of the show will have a new production team for the new series later this year.
It will mean a big shake up to the show, which began airing in 2010.
Lauren Goodger has been the first cast member to announce she will not be returning, with others also set to be axed with new faces preparing to refesh the cast.
