ITV2's The Only Way Is Essex odds-on to be cancelled next year, according to bookies Ladbrokes.
With stars of the show leaving to pursue other celebrity avenues the bookies make it just 8/11 that the show will cease to exit in 2013.
ITV bosses have already renewed the series for future episodes next year, although it's thought that they're cutting back on the 50 plus that will air this year.
It was claimed this morning that producers had crisis talks with the show's cast, warning them that they face the axe if they're not entertaining enough.
The bookies are now taking bets on which cast members will be the next to leave - marathon pals Cara Kilbey and Billi Mucklow are favoured for the chop at 4/1 in the betting, followed closely by Frankie Essex at 5/1.
And should the future be sunny for the boys and girls of TOWIE the firm are predicting another marriage proposal is on the cards, with Lucy and Mario being raced down the aisle by Joey and Sam (3/1), or there's a 4/1 chance that Tom is next to get down on one knee and pop the question to Lydia.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "The odds suggest The Only Way Is The Job Centre for the TOWIE cast. All good things must come to an end and it looks like the trials and tribulations of Essex have reached that point."
She added: "A TOWIE wedding would certainly see ratings rocket and it's over to golden couple Joey and Sam to contest the bragging rights for it."
However a spokesperson for TOWIE commented that any suggestion the series is set to be axed is "absolute nonsense".
They added: "The ratings for this current series are the second highest in the show's history."
The Only Way Is Essex continues on Sundays and Wednesdays on ITV2.
