Olympian Jade Jones has revealed why she signed up for The Jump 2017.
And she was refreshingly honest, saying it was not just 'for the experience' but because she wanted some cold hard cash.
Speaking ahead of the weekend's latest episode, the taekwondo superstar - who has won back to back golds in London and Rio - revealed she wanted to take a year out to top up her bank account.
“It can help me because I feel ready to go back now," Jade explained. “Before, I couldn’t imagine going back into the gym and just cracking on for four years.
“I am using this year to get more publicity, make more money and also have more of a life. Next year I will be 100% serious.”
Jade will be defending her Olympic title in Japan in 2020 and her coach was NOT happy about her signing up to The Jump, which has become notorious for injuries.
She said: “I’m not going to lie, my coach wasn’t happy and is still not happy. I don’t blame him because it is a big risk. GB Taekwondo were telling me it was dangerous.
"They didn’t agree with it, but they still stood by me.”
Touch wood, Jade has been safe so far but her fellow celebs haven't been as lucky.
Sir Bradley Wiggins has been forced out with a fractured leg while Vogue Williams had to quit after injuring her knee.
The Jump 2017 continues tonight on Channel 4 at 7:30PM.
