Sir Bradley Wiggins has injured his leg following The Jump 2017's first live show.

The Jump's new series kicked off on Sunday night on Channel 4 with the ski slalom.

Sir Bradley faced Mark Dolan on the slopes and although he won and made it through to week two, it seems as though the cycling legend didn't finish the course unscathed.

According to The Sun newspaper, Sir Bradley was left with an injured leg after the event but SHOULD be okay to continue in the competition.

A source told the newspaper: “Bradley was gutted to have sustained an injury and is doing all he can to stay in the process.

“He was taken to see a doctor and given painkillers.

“But Bradley’s as hard as nails so bosses think he will be fine to carry on – as long as he doses himself up regularly.”

It wasn't such good news for model Vogue Williams who was in tears on the show on Sunday after being ruled out of the competition before the launch.

She had fallen in training and injured her knee, leaving her unable to ski for at least a year.

Model Amy Willerton stepped up to replace her on the line up for the first show at the weekend.

Sunday's episode ended with Big Brother's Josie Gibson being kicked out of the show after REFUSING to Jump, therefore forfeiting her place in the contest.

The Jump 2017 continues next Sunday night on Channel 4.
